“Pre-access” refers to all the revenue cycle activities that occur before a patient arrives for their service. Accurate capture of patient demographic, financial, and clinical data elements affects the entire revenue cycle. This course explores four of the most significant pre-access activities: scheduling, pre-registration, insurance verification, and obtaining required authorizations.
